ISO 27001 readiness to clear an enterprise customer's security review

The challenge

The customer's security review asked for an independent assessment against ISO/IEC 27001:2022, with findings mapped to the standard. Every other item in the review was answered. Without the assessment, the commercial gate stayed shut.

What Goldline did

• Read TravCom's policies, risk register and continuity plan against every clause and Annex A control in scope.
• Ran one joint interview with the director and the compliance lead to test how the business actually runs, not just what the policies say.
• Gave every finding an owner, an action and a date, then ordered the remediation plan so the highest-risk items close first.
• Delivered a full report for the customer and an executive summary for the board.

The outcome

The gap analysis and remediation plan landed eight days after the engagement letter was signed. TravCom is closing its own actions with light support from Goldline, a follow-up report gives the customer its sign-off, and TravCom is going on to ISO 27001 certification with an independent certification body.

Why it worked

The assessment answered the customer's exact wording, and every line in the report traced to TravCom's own documents or the interview record. Nothing was padded, so nothing had to be walked back.
